Hi! I’m Lizzy, and I have a deep passion for working with children and helping people discover the joy of movement! I hold an Early Childhood Certification from the Center of Guided Montessori Studies and a 200-hour yoga certification. My philosophy is simple yet powerful: movement is medicine, and our bodies are our greatest teachers. I’m passionate about sharing the healing magic of yoga with others, especially children. Through lighthearted guidance, I take young minds and bodies on a journey of playful poses, calming breathwork, and gentle meditation. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create space for growth and connection. It is truly a joy to share this gift and be of service, and I’m so excited to bring my heart and energy to the GoldenSoulWi family! Let’s move, breathe, and grow together!
I’m so excited to be a part of the GoldenSoulWi yoga team! I couldn’t be happier to bring my energy and yoga expertise to this amazing community. Helping people connect with their bodies, emotions, and inner selves through mindfulness, yoga, movement, and art is where I feel most fulfilled. My personal yoga journey started with a desire to better understand the mind-body connection, and that curiosity has grown into a deep passion for sharing techniques that support emotional well-being. One of my favorite creative projects is a self-reflective workbook I designed to help individuals build a positive relationship with themselves by fostering greater self-awareness. My goal is to encourage others to embrace their unique strengths and find balance in their lives. Working with children is especially meaningful to me. Their ability to live in the present moment inspires me every day. Their joy and curiosity spark my creativity, and I love making our sessions fun and impactful. When I’m not teaching yoga, I’m capturing life’s beautiful moments as a photographer. I focus on highlighting love and connection within families, something I deeply value in my own life. For me, fun, play, and meaningful connections are at the heart of true well-being. I’m thrilled to be part of GoldenSoulWi and can’t wait to share my creativity, compassion, and dedication with all of you!
I am absolutely thrilled to be a provider for GoldenSoulWI. I am, Leah Coppola, owner of AdaptiveRelief LLC! I began my massage career in 2001 and have since developed a profound passion for helping others through therapeutic wellness. In 2023, I expanded my expertise by becoming a certified yoga instructor and I am beyond excited to continue this new chapter of my career. As a dedicated mom to two young daughters under six and a loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, I bring a wealth of experience working with children and adults of various abilities—including those with Down syndrome, anxiety, ADHD, prune belly, depression, and more. My background in the medical field is another incredible asset; I became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2010, further enhancing my ability to provide therapeutic care with medical insight. My holistic approach and compassionate nature ensure that each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Hello! My name is Kennedy Hovland, and I am one of the yoga instructors with goldensoulwi llc. I primarily serve our wonderful clients in the northern region of wisconsin. I’m a proud wife and mother to three beautiful children, and as a family, we love spending time outdoors, cooking up delicious meals, boating, and making memories with our extended family. We also have the privilege of being a licensed foster care home, where we open our hearts and home to children in need. With many years of experience working alongside individuals with developmental, physical, and mental health disabilities, I am passionate about helping others find wellness and joy in their lives. I truly believe that this population teaches me just as much—if not more—than I could ever teach them. These incredible individuals have taught me patience, compassion, and the beauty of embracing life with a sense of fun and curiosity. Before joining Goldensoulwi llc, I worked as a case manager for a Wisconsin-managed care organization, where I supported individuals with developmental disabilities and elderly clients. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for meeting people where they are and celebrating their unique journeys. What I love most about working with Goldensoulwi llc is the opportunity to tailor my yoga sessions to fit the specific needs and interests of each child I serve. I am dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing space where children can feel seen, heard, and celebrated as they grow and thrive. I look forward to working with your children, exploring their strengths, embracing their individuality, and finding our zen together!
My name is Kristina Sims, and I am deeply passionate about bringing healing, peace, and balance to those I serve. Over the past 22 years, I’ve dedicated my career to therapeutic massage, specializing in non-ambulatory massage, hospice care, and work with the elderly. I’ve even written a nationally accredited program to educate massage therapists on supporting veterans and individuals with limited mobility, reflecting my commitment to making a positive impact. My journey into yoga began over 15 years ago when I watched my children discover its magic at our local YMCA. Witnessing the calming power of movement, I eagerly joined them on the mat, sparking a lifelong devotion to yoga. I firmly believe our physical and emotional well-being are interconnected, which inspired me to pursue specialized training through Kidding Around Yoga. My focus is on helping children, especially those who have experienced trauma, release tension and find inner peace. In 2023, I launched GoldenKidsYoga under the GoldenSoulWisconsin umbrella to extend these benefits to children aged 4 to 17. This unique initiative combines sound therapy, energy work, yoga postures, music, games, and art meditation to nurture focus, social skills, and relaxation. Every session is designed to help children embrace their inner light and thrive.
I’m a proud mama to two adventurous little boys and feel incredibly blessed to be stepping into the world of children’s yoga. Joining this heart-centered community feels like coming home! When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find my family and me soaking up the outdoors, exploring new places, and making memories with our loved ones. Nature, laughter, and connection are at the heart of our everyday life. With a degree in Early Childhood Education, I’ve always been passionate about the magic that lives within each child. I’m endlessly inspired by the way children think, feel, and experience the world—each one so beautifully unique. Watching them grow emotionally and socially has been one of the greatest joys of my teaching journey. I truly believe in creating a space where children can not only learn, but shine—mind, body, and spirit. I’m so excited to dive deeper into yoga, explore new tools and techniques, and support young minds in becoming confident, grounded, and compassionate beings. My goal is to offer a safe, welcoming space where every child feels free to move, express, and find their inner calm. Let’s grow, breathe, and play together!
Hi, my name is Jesi Ostrowsky. I am very excited to be a part of GoldenSoulWi! I didn't find yoga until later in life when I was 36. It came at a pivotal time in my life as I was on a journey of self discovery and letting go of many things in my life that were no longer serving me. Through my own practice, I found healing on a deeper level than I ever thought was possible. It was then that I knew I had to become a yoga instructor to teach others of the benefits for themselves. I received my 200 hr certification at Inner Fire in Madison, WI, and began teaching a variety of yoga classes. I fell most in love with YIN and the benefits of breath and stretching. I love incorporating yoga into my fitness lifestyle, and I currently teach a yoga centered Mindfulness Class to special needs kids in Madison. I have 3 grown boys, and my youngest has Autism, along with Epilepsy and Type 1 Diabetes. When my son had brain surgery in 2019, he had 3/4th of his right brain removed and had a hard time balancing. I did yoga with him to help retrain his brain to establish proper connections within his body. I have learned to become a strong advocate for my son, and I fully understand all the work we do as parents to give our kids the best quality of life possible. We currently live within a community of special needs young adults, and we enjoy many services that support my son's growth and development. I WISH GoldenSoulWi was around when he was little - he would have absolutely loved it!! I am looking forward to supporting many special souls on this journey of incorporating yoga into their lives!
Hey, I’m Brittany, and I’m so grateful you’re here! I’m a Soul Enhancement Coach, Certified Child Life Specialist, RYT-200, and integrative trauma practitioner, passionate about helping others —especially youth, feel safe, seen, and empowered in their bodies. My journey with yoga began in college during a time of deep grief and big life changes. My mat became a place where I could truly breathe, feel, and begin to heal. It was the first time I felt like I was listening to myself with softness and care—and it completely shifted how I showed up in the world. My passion lies in making healing accessible—for everybody in a body. I combine somatic tools, breathwork, and gentle movement to support others in reconnecting to themselves. Whether I’m working with kids, teens, or adults, my goal is to help empower each person to discover what helps them feel grounded, strong, and at home in their body. I believe healing is personal, powerful, and possible—with the right tools and support. It’s about healing from the inside out—and remembering who you’ve been all along. My approach is gentle, curious, and real. It’s an honor to hold space for growth, curiosity, and emotional wellness—and I’m so excited to be part of the GoldenSoulWI family. Let’s breathe, feel, and come home to ourselves—together.
Hi, I’m Margaret and I am honored to work with you and your child. I have worked with children in many capacities throughout the years including summer camps, nannying, princess parties, leading art & music classes, and directing children’s shows, so you could say I love working with kids! Witnessing children build connections, grow and discover new ideas and concepts through movement and play brings me great joy, and I believe helps to build a better world. I completed my 200 hours of yoga teacher training in 2020 with an emphasis in Integrative Yoga Therapy and have been teaching ever since. I’ve taught yoga in a variety of settings including studios, senior facilities, and inpatient settings. I’ve also led dog and goat yoga classes, so I’m very comfortable with any furry pets you may have! Along with teaching yoga, I am a social worker and artist, so I bring a holistic, collaborative, and creative lens to each student and child I work with. I am passionate about each individual finding their unique voice, expression of movement, and experience on and off the mat. I started practicing yoga to help alleviate anxiety and back pain due to scoliosis and have found it to help those symptoms and so much more. Yoga has helped with concentration, dedication, becoming more flexible physically, emotionally, and mentally, finding balance, purpose and meaning, building compassion for yourself and others, making connections within yourself and the greater whole, and leaning into and embodying love. I hope to help instill these values into children I work with to help build a brighter future. Oh, and also to have fun!
Hi, I’m Julie Zillmer—a compassionate children’s yoga instructor with a background in education and over six years of experience working in K–12 settings, specializing in third grade education. I’m deeply committed to inclusive, trauma-informed practices that honor each child’s unique needs and abilities.
In my yoga sessions, I focus on mindfulness, movement, and emotional regulation, creating a safe and joyful space where all children—including those with special needs—can explore yoga at their own pace. I blend playful engagement with gentle guidance to help kids build confidence, develop body awareness, and discover a sense of inner calm.
I am passionate about sharing the practice of yoga because I believe deeply in its power to cultivate compassion, resilience, and inner peace — qualities that enrich the lives of all, wherever they are on their journey. I bring 17 years of experience working in healthcare with children of varying abilities — emotionally, mentally, and physically — at all levels of well-being in any given moment. Yoga has been a guiding force in my own journey, helping me navigate life’s difficulties with greater kindness, patience, and self-awareness. It is this gift that I feel called to share: tools that empower young people to feel safe in their bodies, steady in their minds, and confident in their unique strengths. My own path with yoga began 29 years ago, when I first stepped into a class with a family member, hoping it would offer them emotional well-being. What began as an act of care blossomed into a lifelong practice of healing, connection, and growth that continues to inspire my work today and enrich my connection to all beings, including animals who have always been close to my heart. As a 200-hour RYT, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share these practices with others. Through my work, I aim to create a gentle, inclusive space where children can explore movement, breath, and stillness in ways that support their emotional, physical, and mental well-being. I believe we practice on the mat so we can carry those lessons — compassion, patience, and strength — into the rest of our lives, both for ourselves and how we care for others. I am committed to meeting children where they are, offering practices that foster joy, self-expression, and a sense of belonging. I believe every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. It is my greatest honor to guide them toward discovering their own inner calm and courage, one breath at a time.
Hello there! My name is Mary Judkins. Yoga has had a profound impact on my life throughout the years, and I am inspired to help others feel and understand it’s benefits.
In May of 2019, I completed a program called Breathe for Change and became a Wellness Champion and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200.) This program emphasized teacher wellness and social-emotional learning facilitation (SEL*F) with children. I am a believer in wellness for all!
I am also a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist with over 30 years of experience in the public schools, the Head Start Program, and the Birth to Three Program. I believe that strong relationships and communication skills are crucial components to living a healthy lifestyle.
I believe families REALLY matter in the development of their children. These are the most important relationships a child has, and those relationships may need support, especially when a child may have developmental or behavioral challenges. I believe in using coaching as an interaction style with parents to help them identify goals and learn strategies so that they can help their child become the best that they can!
Blessings friends, my name is Becky and I recently joined the list of providers at GoldenSoulWi. Each week I visit with individuals and families throughout the Coulee Region to supply practice in mindful movement, meditation, and breathwork.
I first started on a yogic pathway in 2003 when my infant was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Prior to that I never even heard of meditation, mindfulness, or yoga! Staff at the cancer center worked with us and tried to shine a light on the path to better health but it was still our job to walk down the trail. Our sickcare journey came to an end when my son completed chemotherapy and the related follow-up, however, my family continued on this learning path and we all strive to work towards better health—both in the communities where we work and where we live. I now share yogic pathways with others as often as I possibly can and I’m super excited to be a part of GoldenSoulWi!
